Joan Genn is a growth-oriented Sales Leader with a career-long record of leading high-performance teams, multi-million-dollar sales operations, and business development for large organizations including NetApp, Oracle, Sun Microsystems and Unisys. Joan is currently the global sales leader responsible for some of NetApp’s largest customers and partners, including Apple, Cisco, Meta and NVIDIA.  Joan has a track record for building and retaining diverse, high-performing teams.  She effectively develops sales strategies and leads team execution of those strategies to maximize customer value and satisfaction, increased innovation, elevated organizational vision and successful digital transformation while recurrently achieving financial targets and growth goals. 

In addition to her functional roles, Joan has a passion for mentoring and community service. She actively mentors Interns and is an advocate for Diversity and Inclusion programs at NetApp.  In addition to her work and community passions, Joan loves spending time with her family and friends, travelling, wine collecting and attending concerts and music festivals.
